Lauren, you're an intelligent young woman. That's why I'm surprised you've repeated the "love comes to you" schtick. It's such an "oh well" thing to say, the notion that all that's necessary for love is the ability to wait. I refuse to believe that you believe that. Despite what you may think, I do honestly believe that. Now, this is merely my opinion, so there’s that fact, of course. But I believe this because, even if you search all your life for it, love will inevitably find you, in some way, shape, or form. Whether you search for it, or you sit around waiting for it to happen, or you’re simply content being alone, it’s not a choice. Love happens. |
